Party Theme: Hip Summer Soiree

Y'all might remember a little summer fun post a few weeks back about the greatness of a Backyard BBQ, but this here kinda night is for the groovier crowd.

Here you will find a few inspirations for a hip summer soiree. From flamingos to fashionable tablescapes, we've got you covered.

Also, enjoy a few must have party elements to make your night even more stylin'.

YES. Those are flamingo lights... I know right!

Semi-Obsessed with these furniture items from Yeah! Rentals in CA.

Party Element: Personalized Drinkware

For a favor, or as an escort card, glasses for guests are at an all time high. We are swooning over the personalized choices of these couples! Not only does this party element give the option of serving multiple roles, but it makes guests feel so welcomed and treasured.

Coffee sleeves for a cozy exit, or a warm welcome.

Refreshing mug that doubles as a fun favor!

These guests got to choose an antique glass to use for the night. Each glass was unique and made the tablescape extra special!

Glasses with a spot for personalization is a great interactive way to keep guests having fun!

I love these adorable koozies for an outdoor wedding!

Now I need some sweet tea y'all!!

Trend: Fancy Chairs

We have all seen the gorgeous chiavari chairs all over Pinterest being decorated to the nines in ribbons, ruffles, and glitz. I know they are fab, but at around $8 per chair to rent (without any extra snap) this trend is PRICEY!

As a proud bargain hunter, the cost of some rentals for chairs and covers make me cringe, but even worse is the ugliness of some venues' chair options. Unlike most trend posts, I have added some great DIY tips and prices per chair for some innovative ways to turn your "church basement chair" into a great party prop.

Here are some INSANE and GORGEOUS ideas that are out there now:

{Average Per Person Cost = $18-$20}

{Average Per Person Cost = $15}

 {Average Per Person Cost = $40}

{Average Per Person Cost = $15}

And here are some still pricey, but not gouging ideas:

{Average Per Person Cost = $10-$12}

{Average Per Person Cost = $15}

 {Average Per Person Cost = $10}

{Average Per Person Cost = $12}

And here are a few ideas to get your budget friendly mouths watering:

Gather chairs from your friends and neighbors for a family style, eclectic feel.
{Average Per Person Cost = Some really nice Thank You notes}

Spray paint your own metal folding chairs to match your colors. Great for a more modern wedding.
{Average Per Person Cost = $8}

Cheap fabric cut in strips can often be cheaper than rolls of ribbons. So find some yardage you like and get cutting!
{Average Per Person Cost = $5}

If you splurge for chiavari chairs, simply add an easy printable with ribbon to backs of chairs. You can use this for place cards, a monogram, or just do the Bride and Groom.
{Average Per Person Cost = $10-$12}

Last option - find a venue with great chairs that match your theme :) Easy right.

Party Element: Guestbook

The guestbook is one of the first things that people see when arriving to your wedding or event. To make it stand out and draw guests in, take a look at some of these fun takes on it!

Have guests sign a globe or map of the state you marry in.

Sign one large decorative page to hang later.

Guests write a note on Jenga pieces! How fun to play later and read all the notes :)

Each guest paints a square!

Colored tape to match your theme and already cut out paper slips... simple, but adorable.

Great way to get the party started! AND doubles as a seating chart! Names on front, table number on back.

Great way to get all of your guests' birthdays!

Party Element: Table Numbers

Did you know that we do graphic design too? We have created TONS of programs, invites, stationary, and table number templates over the years!

We picked out some great trends happening right now with table numbers and how to incorporate them into centerpieces, but this is one of my favorite designs we did for a wedding this fall.

Simple. Sweet. Easy to read.

Embroidery hoop numbers - cute, playful, adds a little heritage feel.

Moss number in a glass dome - fresh, chic, and easy!

Chalkboard paint vases/bottles/jars - creative, can be used with any flower type and any container.

Simple shape cut-out - pretty, basic, doesn't take away from design.

Spray painted pumpkins! - FUN, festive, unique, and the color options are endless!

If you are interested in using any of our design or styling services like graphically designing table numbers then shoot us an email! We would be happy to help in any way we can.
