Real Wedding: Megan and Tyler's Ceremony

Who can resist a wonderful and sentimental ceremony that truly celebrates the bride and groom and their loved ones? Certainly not us! Every detail behind Megan and Tyler's ceremony had meaning and purpose behind it. What a beautiful way to honor the union of two families!

Did you choose to do any memorable events or traditions within your ceremony?
One memorable event in our ceremony was having 6 kids come down the aisle. We had an adorable ring bearer and flower girl, along with my cute cousin pulling a wagon full of 3 babies. The kids did such a great job. All of the babies were adorable and the good news is that none of them cried! It was more perfect than I anticipated.

What was the most sentimental part of your ceremony?
The most sentimental part of our ceremony was when my dad handed me over to Tyler after walking me down the aisle. I’m so close to my dad, even more so since my mom passed away of cancer 3 years ago. I know it was hard for my dad, but it is funny how things work out. My dad got remarried last year to a wonderful woman who happened to be the matchmaker of Tyler and me. With that being said, God has a way of showing us He knows what He is doing, even though 3 years ago it was hard to see that. When my dad handed me over, the look on Tyler’s face was priceless, and I felt such a peace in knowing I was about to marry the man God chose for me.

Why did you choose the ceremony space that you did?
We chose Springhill Baptist Church for our ceremony space because it was not too big of a church, but also not too small for our large wedding. Church and our faith are very important to us,  so having it at our church worked out perfectly.

Real Wedding: Kira and Kyle's Reception

What amazing details Kira and Kyle had! From the chalkboard signage (see more in their ceremony post!) to their signature drinks, we loved it all. The green and white vintage library theme was played out beautifully in Rogers and Baldwin Historic Venue. They used touches of book-themed decor in their centerpieces and specialty areas so be on the lookout! We especially loved the library card table numbers that each told a story about the couple. The ones written by Kyle were adorable!

Real Wedding: Kira and Kyle's Portraits

I hope you adored the stunning photos from Kira and Kyle's ceremony earlier this week! These two were such an adorable couple that all their admiration and love for each other can't be captured in these photos. Our favorites are the ones that Regina Richards snagged of the couple as the sun set!

(How precious are those AME interns in total bridal beauty awe!)

(This moment was immediately after the ceremony as they made their way outside for photos. They just stopped in the middle of the sidewalk and hugged. So sweet and such a great memory for them!)

two of our favorites!
