Real Weddings: Iceley and Kelby's Reception

This couple did such an AMAZING job on the design and details of their wedding! We love the elements they used and the love they put into it. The yellow and grey shades just pop in the rustic atmosphere of the barn and enhance it with such a contemporary flair! Take a look and let us know what you think! Their photos are all by Meg White Photography.

How did you portray your personal styles into your wedding day?
We portrayed our personal styles by doing all the decorating and designing. We used our own ideas to create our beautiful décor for the ceremony and reception.

What’s the one décor aspect that you most loved and will remember?
We loved everything about our décor. We wanted everything to be modern with a little feel of rustic antique. Being able to come up with all the decorating ideas ourselves is something we will always remember. We had everything exactly the way we wanted it to be.

What was your first dance song, and why?
We danced to “Love Never Fails” by Brandon Heath. This was one of the hardest things for us to choose a song to dance too. We had so many songs that we loved, but this song stood out to us. It is a very beautifully written song about love and we felt the words fit us perfectly.

Real Wedding: Iceley and Kelby's Ceremony

Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Kelby and Iceley Parks on the blog this week! There is not enough I can say about this wonderful couple! Iceley and Kelby's wedding day was intimate, heartfelt, and absolutely joyous. It is not hard to see in their photos how in love they are, or how well they fit each other. It is also obvisous how happy their friends and family are for them by the way they celebrated together. Enjoy these beautiful pictures by Meg White Photography!

Did you choose to do any memorable events or traditions within your ceremony?
We choose to keep everything pretty traditional with our ceremony. We had very old traditional vows and Unity Candle. We also added our own songs during the Unity Candle and the Exit that fit to us.

Why did you choose the ceremony space that you did?
We chose The Round Barn, for its beautiful uniqueness! We love the location and how everything was set up. We felt like it was the perfect setting for the ceremony we wanted.  The owners were also so amazing to work with and it made our day so special!

What was the most sentimental part of your ceremony?
We think the most sentimental part of our ceremony was when we were lighting our Unity Candle, and at the end when our Preacher (Iceley's uncle) was saying the prayer to bless our marriage.

Real Wedding: Iceley and Kelby's First Look and Portraits

What a vibrant beyond vibrant day! Not only are the colors from this modern, country wedding adorable, but the JOY that this couple exuded was such a breath of fresh air. Iceley and Kelby's big day took place this June and was a true celebration of family, commitment, and of course love. Enjoy these photos by Meg White Photography of their first look and portraits!

What one portrait would you choose to put above your mantle?
We love our Wedding Photos! There are so many to choose from. We would pick one that reflects how much we love each other.

If you could change one thing about your wedding day, what would it be?
The one thing we would change is that we wish it hadn’t have been so hot! :)

What was your most favorite photo location, and why did you choose it?
Our favorite photo location was just outside of the Round Barn by the barn doors or outside on the grass area with the sun setting. Some of our favorite photos are of us at sunset on the grass area by the swing. The colors in these photos just popped!
