Wedding Design: Janelle and Brett

Y'all all know already how much I love this weddign design because it was created off of our expo booth design! Janelle is truly a girl after my own heart, down to her love of donuts and great taste in music, so CLEARLY their wedding is shaping up to be fabulous!

Their front page inspiration board highlights their color palette of black and white with touches of gold and focuses on their fancy and modern style.

The reception page touches on the layout of the event space and goes over the concepts for linens and centerpieces. I always try to show on a layout where the different types of centerpieces will go so that the bride can get a grasp of how the room will look from every angle.

This page goes into more detail about the centerpieces (tip: you should always do more than one type unless it is a very small and intimate event). My favorite is the gold matte lamp option that will hold a flickering candle and be surrounded by bud vases at the base!

I am obsessed with the seating chart! We are creating a large ornate gold frame to house our cream colored backdrop of glitter-edged escort cards. The seating chart will be available to guests during cocktail hour so that there won't be a traffic jam at the reception room entrance.

THE BEST PART. Favors of Donuts from the yummiest shop in town. Small personalized bags will read "Donut mind if I DO". Can you get more perfect than that!?

I am so excited for Janelle and Brett's big day this summer and hope you will follow along in their engagement and wedding celebration!

Real Wedding: Matt and Tanya's Reception

What a party! Tanya did such a beautiful job incorporating personal details, like photos, into her centerpieces of gold candles and florals. The Grandview Ballroom at Big Cedar was so romantic as the sun went down and the candle light on each table lit the room. Guests danced the night away with glow sticks and I LOVED seeing Tanya's grandparents out on the dance floor breakin' it down! They were amazing! The couple ended the night with a sparkler send off and the guests loved the heart shaped sparklers mixed in!

The head table featured long "Italian style" seating for the wedding party and their dates.

 The life of the party!

Congratulations again to Matt and Tanya! Such a wonderful week reliving your amazing wedding celebration! Thanks for allowing us to be a part of it.

Real Wedding: Matt and Tanya's Portraits

First of all, the flowers in this wedding do EXACTLY what wedding flowers should to - enhance the overall look and bring added beauty to the photos. Second, the attire for both girls (house party and bridesmaids) and guys is SPOT. ON. I love the navy stripes and the pop of coral. So fresh and pretty. The icing on the cake for these portraits is what it always is - a couple truly, madly, deeply in love. Their joy is unmistakable and it can't help but warm your heart.

Is this the definition of glowing!?

Real Wedding: Matt and Tanya's Ceremony

This ceremony was so full of sweet emotion! The looks on their faces during the vows say it all. They had an absolute packed house in the chapel and it was such a testament to the type of kind and genuine people that they are and the friendships that are a result of it. It is such a joy to relive their ceremony through these photos again!

 Such a beautiful chapel.

I love this moment! I am often the first one to get to greet the couple as they exit the ceremony and it is the most joyful and exciting occasion. Quick congrats then on to photos!!

First picture together after the ceremony!

Portraits and reception to come! Stay tuned!
