Today is the last day of Taryn and Kyle's Wedding Week! As sad as we are to see this week go, we are so happy that we were able to share a part of this fun loving couple and their awesomely fun wedding! If you missed their adorable first look and portraits and touching outdoor ceremony you need to go back! All photos taken by Aaron Clark Photography were incredible and really captured the moment.
The reception is no different! From the marquee letters to the hand stamped planter boxes of flowers, this wedding is not lacking any personal touches or DIY details. Kyle even created their one-of-a-kind photo booth AND baked all the delicious treats for the dessert buffet! The guests had such a blast and the fireworks gifted to the couple from her uncle were such a sweet and festive touch. Enjoy!
How did
you portray your personal styles into your wedding day?

Our personal style was seen
everywhere because without that we would have just had tables on a lawn! We both
worked so hard to create a beautiful setting and really searched for furniture
and décor that we could not only use in our wedding, but in our home as
well. But to give you one specific example, love of gold and fresh flowers was
very tangible in the reception décor.
What’s the one décor aspect that you most loved and will remember?
Our most loved piece of décor was the K & T marquis signs that hung as the centerpiece of the event on the barn. I am especially proud of them because Kyle did an amazing job making them by hand, but they are also the centerpiece of our living room leaving us a perfect daily reminder of our special day.
What was your first dance song, and why?
Our first dance song was a cover of I’m Gonna Be (500 miles) by Sleeping at Last. Hearing that song by the Proclaimers from the 80’s era you can’t even hear the meaning of the words behind the crazy melody, but in this rendition is it a truly lovely and sentimental song without being gushy or over-used. That’s what we wanted the most – something original.
